And then there are the outliers, really weird, made of nothing, but nonetheless imaginable. Here we will rely on telepathic simpatico. Who hasn't experienced this when reading a favorite author?
The ability to inhabit another mind is known to musicians, friends, lovers, enemies. Inventors make simultaneous discoveries. Intuition sparks scientific breakthroughs. Hunches avert disasters.
Everyone has dreams which appear out of nowhere. The mind in which they appear typically assigns a location of cranial origin, somewhere behind the eyes, generously accepting the illusion as a metaphor. This saves time and painful puzzlement and feels safe within the limits of comfortable beliefs held in other minds.
But what is there, beyond daydreams, wishful fantasies, deliberate fabrication, that just nonvisually or nonaurally exists? Whether it makes sense or not or is relevant to experience?
Try to imagine --
Think of a personal existence within an indefinite sphere intersected with a three dimensional (or more) foldable cage of articulated wires, brightly colored nodes. Know that this is a metaphor of wire and node illusions. It is all quite real. As real as it gets, in the next moment replaced by another, and the entire illusory structure is not fully contained within its imputed mind, but extends telepathically to other minds.
This laughable description, an artifact of words and concepts, nonetheless resonates in precincts of invisible cages with colored nodes, outside the boundaries of here and there.
