“without knowing, in the early signs of rocket disintegration”
The Petri dish creatures clump together, forming cities that elect leaders, raise flags and declare boundaries. A few smart ones invent a code to interconnect everything, like mycorrhiza. Ideas, pictures, music, conversations flow between the colonies. And beyond. Three dimensional objects use the code to become replicable anywhere. Remote control surgery uses it to refine delicate operations. In a millisecond anyone can send a flaming message to thousands of people anywhere.
“hot diggity damn!”
Knowing the dish to be a globe, part of our solar system, some creatures build an exploratory craft to send to the outer reaches, commanding it once there to transmit a picture back home. It shows a pale blue dot. A lonely fact by itself.
An International Space Station is built to orbit closer in. Weather systems seen whole, aurora displays, coral reefs, city streets and lights are shown in stunning detail, which fades to depths of the sea. Unseen around the reefs, colonial animals go about their lives, building homes to house symbiotic algal plants that connect the biosphere.
“on silent wings the path of flight is motionless”
The mushroom orb, seen from a distance, is academic, perhaps literary or sociological. It creates green glass relics, ancestors inadvisable for jewelry but, moving on – it makes atavisms of the armies of Armageddon, somewhat mellifluous. And pronto, fitting it for the evening news.
Or watch the melificant movie. See how the jet stream swirls fandango as never before.. Without the Space Station . . . .
“the muse speaks mind”
Some ears are laughing. The babbleader baloney train tweets its whistle, people and pigeons gather in the park. The mind is silent. All the ships of the Northern Sea, and all the fools' sycophants can't hear. Noise below is out of range, swimming with colonists beneath the sea. The muse speaks origins, replying on the spot . . . .
“see the blue marble?”
